Explore the Balinese jungle while descending a crystal clear stream in a hidden canyon in your own inflatable tube! We discovered and gained access to an idyllic place in the middle of the jungle, not far from the Bali Quad base camp. We built wooden stairs, platforms and suspension bridges and moved rocks to enable you to float down the Siap stream in Payangan area and enjoy the rich wildlife. To get to and from the canyon we use rugged 4×4 off road vehicles and your adventure starts from the moment you enter one of our jeeps!
After arrival at the starting point we provided a nice bonus for those who like an adrenaline rush, a 100 meter long Zip/flying fox line which enables you to actually fly through the jungle. For those who don’t like to participate in this bonus activity we made foot paths until the launching platform. Then, jump into your own tube while our team of guides accompanies you. The river current (no paddling necessary) will float you down while our guides will give you commentary on the area. At some points you will need to get out of the tube to get pass a beautiful waterfall or big rock area. At these spots we built suspension bridges around the obstacles, adding to the impression that you’re one of the main characters in another exciting Indiana Jones story. If you’re lucky, you might spot monkeys or rare birds nestled in the treetops. At the end of the tour, which goes for approx. 1,5 hours, our off-road vehicle will bring you from the riverbank to our base camp (no torturous stair climbing before or after the tour!)
Same as goes for our quad and buggy tours our canyon tubing adventure is not a mass tourism activity but a one of a kind experience where you will explore the jungle with only a select group of guests to guarantee an optimal experience for each participant. This activity is not extreme but suitable for all ages the youngest ones (approx.. 5 – 10 yrs) can join in one tube with either one of the parents or with one of the guides if they prefer). No swimming experience is required. Our guides are fully trained and licensed and we use branded equipment.
